LOCATION: Boca Raton, FL, USA.


SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm / Weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule


HOUSING STATUS: Live-out


TRAVEL: Travel to other properties, as needed


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Highly organized, tight knit family of five (5) is seeking a Lead Housekeeper for their estate and properties; wonderful work environments that offer career growth.


QUALIFICATIONS (required but not limited to):

  • Experience working as a Lead or Executive Housekeeper in large, private residence and/or yacht

  • Experience leading and managing a housekeeping team in a multiple-home, estate(s) setting

  • Zone cleaning experience

  • Knowledge of interior plants and florals, flower arranging, balloon décor, and table setting

  • Experience laundering fine linens and designer clothing

  • Must be tech-savvy with Mac, Excel, MS word, and email

  • Ability to serve and bartend during parties/events


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the housekeeping team of 3 with daily operations of the home

  • Oversee purchases and inventory control of the household supplies

  • Maintain family preferences and keep up-to-date as it relates to the housekeeping department

  • Establish opening and closing procedures for the housekeeping team

  • Create and implement a housekeeping manual

  • Travel to other properties to train staff, as needed

  • Schedule routine maintenance of housekeeping equipment

  • Manage staff schedule for the housekeeping department, PTO requests, timecards, housekeeping purchases, and expenses

In addition...

  • Experience as a Chief Stew is a plus!

  • Must flourish in a family environment

  • Be a team player, 'no task too big or too complex' attitude, and pitch-in with other departments as needed

  • Have longevity in previous positions with excellent references

  • Legal to work in the USA, fluent in English, pass a full background check and drug screening


COMPENSATION: Dependent On Experience
