PROFESSIONAL CHEF FOR HIGH PROFILE FAMILY [PFL983A]



LOCATION: Boca Raton, FL, USA.


SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday | mid-morning to after dinner, exact times to be determined


TRAVEL: Chef will typically travel with the family three to four weeks out of the year. [Accommodations provided]


CULINARY STYLE: Healthy, organic family cooking


FAMILY: Active family with 3 children


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Safe Serve Food Handlers certifications

  • Expertise working as a private chef in private residences

  • Ideally candidate will be formally trained with a culinary degree

  • Michelin Star chef is a plus!

  • Adult & Child CPR & First-Aid Certified


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proved healthy snacks and meals for the family using organically sources ingredients

  • Ability to explain to the family the health benefits and ingredients of each meal

  • Ability to provision in an efficient manner, weekly

  • Create and execute monthly menus

  • Prepare breakfast the day before for the family to reheat the following morning

  • Prepare children's school lunches day before

  • Cook and serve lunch and dinner

  • Ensure kitchen is cleaned and tidied at the end of dinner service

  • Create and maintain inventory of the kitchen and pantries

  • Provisions for guests visiting the property

  • Follow food allergy guidelines within the family

  • Fully responsible for cleaning and organizing Chef's kitchen and appliances, Housekeepers help with Family kitchen

  • Execute parties and events at various times throughout the year. Work with leadership and family on menu and service for event

  • Step in and cook at the families other residences / interests as needed


In addition...

  • Lunch is typically served at 1230pm

  • Dinner served at 0630pm

  • Service style is mostly family style at the family room dinning table

  • Mileage reimbursement for provisioning in no company vehicle is available


TRIALS:

  • Chef to demonstrate skills to the family, preferences will be provided

  • Hours: TBD

  • Payment via check

  • Chef will provision during the workday, not before the trial

  • Minimum two days with option for family to extend


COMPENSATION: Dependent On Experience


BENEFITS: Two weeks, PTO, Health, Vision & Dental
