Whether you are looking for a Personal Assistant, Butler, Household/Estate Manager, Family Assistant, Chef, Nanny/Manny, Housekeeper, or other Private Service Professional, we are here to help guide you through the process.


Our goal is to match you with the right Candidate(s)...ultimately resulting in longevity of the placement and relationship.

Candidates with our Agency must have the minimum requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field 

• 21+ years of age 

• Possess 3 excellent professional references 

• Pass extensive Background Check (Criminal; Sex offenders registry; Social Security Number verification)

• Able to commit to a one-year minimum with Client

• Legal to work in the US 

• Valid Driver’s License, current car insurance, and reliable vehicle 

• CPR & First-aid Certified

• Hold a College Degree or Accredited Trade School Training Diploma/Certificate

Additional screening for some of our Candidates include: 

• International Background Check  

• Trustline Certified (State of CA) 

• Certified in THAA’s 12 Month Workshop Training Program specializing in their field  

• Vaccination records check 

• Full wellness screening 

• Drug testing 

• College Education verification 

Below are the initial steps to begin the Search process: 

1. Contact us via phone or email expressing your interest in a Domestic Staff Search.


2. A complimentary phone consultation is scheduled with The Herbert Alfred Agency  owner to answer your initial questions, learn more about the Private Service roles you need filled, and share details of our placement process.


3. Review The Herbert Alfred Agency 'Welcome Packet' enclosures which contains the Placement Package options, Client Contract, testimonies from THAA Clients who have used our services. You will also receive information on how to Register with us to begin & a Family Questionnaire so we can gather more information on you as a Family.


4. Once you Register, we begin your search! We start by drawing up a Custom Job Description & Video Short for your file, & start screening qualified Candidates on your behalf.


5. You then choose who you are most comfortable hiring & we help set up that Candidate in your home for employment. To expedite this process, please take 10-15 mins to fill out the below family Questionnaire. A member of our Staff will review it & reach out to you within 48 hours to schedule your Free Phone Consult.
