HOUSEKEEPER/FAMILY ASSISTANT FOR SOUTH FL HOME (#PFL61A)

This lovely Family is a tight knit, caring, & friendly Family of 5. They currently live in Miami, FL & they pride themselves on professionalism, kindness, integrity and organization. Confidentiality, a happy environment, and open communication are guiding principles for all members of this Family & the main characteristics they are seeking in this Professional Family Assistant!


Position Description:

We are seeking a Professional Housekeeper/Family Assistant for this wonderful South FL Family. The Family has three (3) children: ages 11, 10, & 8. Main duties are upkeep of the home, full housekeeping, & light cooking. Must be willing & able to run errands, help with the children as needed, & organize parts of the home. Ideal Candidate will live in & be available 5-6 days a week. There are no pets in the home at this time. The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post age 18 experience as a Family Assistant, be CPR Certified, highly flexible, & mature. They would love someone who is also fluent in Spanish but this is not a requirement. May be some travel to the Hamptons int eh Summer. Heavier work is on the weekends, mornings, & evenings, as the children are in school during the weekdays when the Family Assistant is off. Searching in S. FL for a long term fit & spectacular Candidate! Position begins as soon as the right Candidate is found. (Possibly by October 1, 2021!)

The Family would like a Nanny to be Covid-19 cautious & possibly wear a mask when needed.


Accommodations:

This is a live IN position for someone who is local to the area.


Projected Schedule:

Projected schedule is 40-50 hours per week on average. Heavier when children are out of school. Candidate needs to be flexible to a changing schedule. Position is live in & 5-6 days per week.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Keeping areas of the home organized & clean

  • Supervising & caring for children when out of school

  • Supporting the Parents as needed

  • Keeping the children’s schedules

  • Transporting children as needed

  • Light cooking for the whole Family

  • Grocery store errands

  • Organizing of home

  • Laundry duties for family

  • Other household duties as needed when children in school

  • Light Housekeeping & organizing projects

  • Follow the Parents lead & requests in regards to caring for the children

  • Helping with travel plans, bookings, packing, unpacking, & prepping for all travel

  • Traveling with the Family & children as often as needed

  • Present yourself properly at all times; representing The Herbert Alfred Agency with poise & Professionalism always

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a private home

  • 5+ years Nanny experience

  • Flexible Attitude

  • High energy/physically active

  • Fluent in the English language

  • Preferably fluent in Spanish as well (but not required)

  • Clean driving record

  • Clear Background Check

  • Non-Smoker

  • Local to South FL area

  • CPR/First Aid Certified

  • Ability to drive

  • Excellent judgment and decision making skills

  • Ability to understand Parents preferences/expectations

  • Trustworthiness and integrity, always acting in the best interests of the Parents

  • Respect for, and emphasis on, confidentiality and privacy in regards to the Parents private life

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, stooping, reaching, running

  • Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 pounds

  • Able to walk up & down stairs multiple times a day

  • Working with cleaning solutions and solvents

Salary Offered:

  • $1200/week or $62,400/year

  • Pay raise per annual based on performance

  • Paid time off/Vacation time
