Position Description:
We are seeking a Super Star House Manager for this wonderful Family. The Family consists of 2 Parents, 3 children (ages 8, 6, & 2), a Family dog, & 2 pet turtles. They live in a nice home that is fully staffed to include two full time Nannies, an Estate Manager, Housekeepers, & more. The ideal Candidate will have strong self management skills, be one step ahead at all times, extremely organized, & a master at running a home. The House Manager should also have a strong background Managing Yachts & Boat staff. The House Manager is to act as the “right arm” to the Estate Manager who currently runs the Families multiple homes & lives. This Candidate should hold at least 7 years of high end experience, be very reliable, & available & willing for any amount of full time hours. Must be able to self motivate in performing tasks & rarely have to ask for assistance. Managing Staff, party planning, organization, scheduling, office work, dealing with vendors & guests, house staging, reporting/fixing maintenance in the home, & car upkeep/maintenance, are only a few of the responsibilities. Seeking someone who can jump into any role as needed should that person be out or need assistance. A Candidate who can also fill the role of the Estate Manager when he is absent & who can answer to him as your direct Supervisor when he is present. Seeking high energy, an enormous amount of professionalism, kindness, integrity, & intelligence. Looking for a strong person for this role for a long term placement. Nationwide search & a relocation stipend is offered. Must be fluent in English, legal to work in the USA, & be Covid-19 cautious. Position starts as soon as the right Candidate is found.
COVID-19 Information:
The Family practices social distancing & is desiring a House Manager who is agreeable to this. The House Manager should be willing to stay within the home with seldom leaving during this time. Wearing a mask while on the clock is a possibility.
Accommodations:
This is a live out position. The House Manager must live off site when not working. Conducting a Nationwide search for someone who is willing to relocate.
Projected Schedule:
Projected schedule is a heavy full time schedule which on average can look like 45-60 hours per week. Most of the work is to be performed Monday-Friday, but the ideal Candidate will be able & willing to work weekends as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Upkeep home & organize as needed
Manage Household Staff
Running errands as needed
Act as the Estate Manager’s ‘Right Arm’; aiding in anything he needs assistance with
Dealing with Vendors as needed
Party planning/prepping for Guests
Inventory of the house
Upkeep/re-create the Household Manual
Supporting the Principals as needed
Keeping the Family’s schedules
Capabilities to jump into any role within the house, at any time, as needed
Property upkeep & management
Maintenance of home & repairs as needed
Maintenance of all Family vehicles to include cleanliness & operations
Helping the Family in travel plans by booking travel, packing, organizing, & unpacking
Office work as needed
Decorating the home for Holidays/parties
Aiding in training of Staff as needed
Present yourself properly at all times; representing The Herbert Alfred Agency with poise & Professionalism always
Qualifications:
Experience working in a private home
7+ years House Manager experience
Flexible Attitude
High energy/physically active
Fluent in the English language

Local to the South FL or willing to relocate there
Ability to drive

Physical Requirements:
Bending, stooping, reaching, running

Salary Offered:
$140k-$160k/year DOE
Pay raise per annual based on performance
